For urgent appointments we request a copy of the referral letter with relevant pathology and radiology reports if available, to be faxed directly to the rooms for triage, or if deemed appropriate by the referring doctor a direct call to the rooms.
Non urgent appointments may be made by contacting the rooms and speaking to my secretary Sue who will take the patient’s details including the reason for the referral.
Sue will post a letter of confirmation for the appointment time and a Patient Registration form and a Patient Privacy Legislation Consent form with a return stamped addressed envelope for the patient to complete and post back to the practice prior to the patient’s appointment.
Patients may request to be placed on a cancellation list for an earlier appointment.
The referring doctor will be notified if their patient fails to attend for their appointment and does not respond to calls from the practice.
